Bay are now just a point behind Pesda with the same amount of games played after beating Carmel twice and Northop once on Sunday.
Hannah Kennedy smashed 41 off just 18 balls as the Bay built up a big winning total at Pen-y-Gelli.
Put into bat, Colwyn amassed 142-3 off their 16 overs, Amy Kennedy and Kerry Roberts adding 15 apiece and Jane Smith 12.
Haf Morgan-Read took 2-16 for Carmel, who hit 86-9 in reply.
Morgan-Reed stood out with 32 (twice out = 22), while Hannah Kennedy completed a tremendous match with 4-6 and Kerry Roberts bagged 3-13 for the winners.
Invited to bat, the Bay blasted 153 without loss from 16 overs, Hannah Kennedy again the star with 37, Amy Kennedy adding 29, Samantha Sherrington 25 and Jane Smith 13.
Carmel were limited to 58-4, Amy Kennedy, Pallavi Dodia, Hannah Kennedy and Kerry Roberts one wicket apiece for the visitors.
Bay batted first and piled up 151-2 off their 16 overs at Pen-y Gelli.
Samantha Sherrington hit 26, Hannah Kennedy 25 (103 runs on the day), Jane Smith 18, Amy Kennedy 17 and Charlotte Bennett 16.
Kaye Jones top-scored with 15 as Northop were restricted to 62-9, Kerry Roberts 2-1, Jane Smith 2-5 and Hannah Kennedy 2-6 for the Bay.
