The 2022 Gwynedd and Anglesey Summer Netball League season is well and truly underway.

The latest action, on Wednesday, July 6, brought two cracking close matches in Division One.

Menai Mavericks edged past Dyffryn Ladies 27-26, but the game of the night was surely the one featuring Winter League Division One champions Tim o Walis and record 13-time title winners Arfon Ladies.

Walis led 18-13 at half time, but Arfon fought back strongly to take the third quarter 9-4, making it 22-22 ahead of the last.

And it was Arfon who clinched it, grabbing the final session 4-3 to squeeze out a single-goal 26-25 victory.

Penygroes Primos were clearer 24-16 winners over Pwllheli Panthers.
