Gwion Dafydd led the way with 85 but it was fifth-wicket pair Ieuan Jones and Benjamin Davies who guided Carmel to a penultimate ball victory over Bersham.
Visitors Bersham were put into bat and openers Nilanka De Silva (75) and Suresh Lakmal Koswaththage (38) got them off to a fine start.
Number four bat Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka added 45, but the rest made little impact and the Colliers were all out for 189 in 39.2 overs.
Derek Johnson produced what can only be described as magnificent figures of 5-13 off six overs for Carmel considering the strength of the Bersham batting.
Danny Owens also picked up 2-37 and Danny Owens 2-45.
Carmel’s Gwion Dafydd made 85 off 88 balls, including five fours and two sixes, while opener Dafydd Bailey struck 48, but there was still work to do when Jones and Davies came together at four down.
Jones (23 no) and Davies (12 no) proved they were up to the job, seeing the hosts to 190-4 in 39.5 overs. Nissanka scooped 3-42 for the visitors.
