Denbigh Town and Caersws have been confirmed as the two wildcard entries for the 2022/23 Nathaniel MG Cup.
44 spaces are allocated to the 12 JD Cymru Premier clubs, 16 JD Cymru North clubs and 16 JD Cymru South clubs for the competition, while the wildcard spaces are granted to clubs outside the top two tiers.
Lock Stock Ardal North West outfit Denbigh Town, who finished third in the league last season, have been confirmed as one of the recipients of a wildcard.
The Central Park club reached the final of the Nathaniel MG Cup in the 2015/16 campaign before succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against nine-time winners The New Saints.
They knocked out three Welsh Premier teams en route – Rhyl, Airbus and Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Denbigh will be joined in the competition by fellow tier three side Caersws, who came within touching distance of promotion to the JD Cymru North last season by reaching the Lock Stock Ardal Northern Play-Off Final.
