Llanfairpwll and Cemaes Bay have been ordered to replay their NWCFA Junior Cup semi-final.
The two Tier 5 North Wales Coast West Division One sides will meet again at Maes Eilian, Llanfairpwll, next Tuesday, May 24, kick-off 6.30 pm.
The original last-four tie took place on March 12, visitors Cemaes winning convincingly by a 7-0 margin.
However, Llanfairpwll put in a protest that Bay fielded an ineligible player.
This was upheld by the NWCFA and Llanfairpwll were put into the final, but Cemaes appealed to the FAW, who decided a replay was necessary.
While Bay may hold a psychological advantage over ‘Pwll after that 7-0 result, Llanfair did beat the School Lane outfit twice in the league this season.
The winners of next Tuesday’s game will meet Talysarn Celts in the final.
Celts have reportedly told the NWCFA they cannot play the match any later than May 28 – and that may well be the date of the final.
