There are still a few matches left for players to boost their respective totals in the North Wales Goalden Girl competition.

As for Wrexham AFC Women’s amazing Rosie Hughes, her season is complete with a stunning 48 goals netted in all competitions across 21 matches.

Of the rest, Llandudno’s Maddie Williams (29) and Kirstie Kural (26) of Connah’s Quay Nomads could yet hit the 30-goals mark if they shine in forthcoming cup games.

Candice Nellist of CPD Y Rhyl 1879, the top scorer in the North Wales League with 23 goals, could feature in four more games, so is definitely in with a shout of reaching 30.

Most impressive last weekend was Connah’s Quay Nomads’ Shannon Hobbs, who scored four in a 5-2 NEWFA Cup win over Wrexham to rise to 16 goals.
