Wrexham AFC Women sensation Rosie Hughes finished clear top scorer in the new tier 2 Genero Adran North this season with a stunning 36 goals in 14 appearances.

The 26-year-old former Welsh Premier League player with Llandudno has had the campaign of her life, amassing 46 goals in all competitions.

The battle to finish top scorer in the North Wales Women’s League is much closer.

Candice Nellist of CPD Y Rhyl 1879 stormed back to top spot by netting five at the weekend, moving her on to 22 goals in 13 games. All of the 21-year-old’s goals have come in league matches.
