Football

Women’s football in North Wales still ON today (as at midnight Saturday – as far as we know!)

Will these girls get to kick a ball today? We hope so

Three Sunday matches in North Wales women’s football were still ON late last night – as far as we know.

In the Genero Adran North, there had been no postponement announcement for Bethel v Pwllheli or Llandudno v Denbigh Town.

The same was true for Northop Hall v Bangor 1876 in the North Wales Women’s League.

We know Llandudno were due to make a decision this morning, but there had been no update on the other two matches.

These games may be going ahead, or they might have been called off already and we have not been told (that does happen quite often). Just the shortest of messages (we are easily contactable) will suffice, it should not really just be up to us to keep checking clubs’ social media (even though we do).

More news later this morning when received. You can also check the social media accounts of the clubs either on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other methods used to communicate which we don’t know about (the internet is forever changing).

The vast majority of teams are great at keeping us informed and we are really grateful.

Hope we see a little action today at least – be safe!
