Corwen Football Club are seeking a new manager.
The tier 3 Ardal North East outfit have parted company with Guy Handscombe and Shaun Colley, who left on Wednesday by mutual consent.
A Corwen FC statement said: “The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Guy and Shaun for their professionalism, commitment and support during the course of this season and to wish them well for the future.”
Ian Evans, Gary Gallagher, Danny Jones and James Davies will take responsibility for Saturday’s game against Penycae.
Handscombe had taken over as Corwen manager in April 2021.
Corwen are currently eighth in Ardal North East.
It has been a tough few months for the club as back in September, it had to stop using the War Memorial Park – where it has played for more than 40 years – as its home ground as the town council will not permit them to use the pavilion facilities.
The club need access to such facilities to qualify for a licence in the league where they compete.
As a result, Corwen are having to play the rest of their home matches this season at Maes Tegid, Bala – more than 11 miles away.
