Mochdre Sports Vets 1-9 Denbigh Wanderers Vets

Ross Gilbert scored four times in Denbigh Wanderers’ final game of 2021.

The Wanderers went one better than in their last meeting with Mochdre, which ended 8-1.

Also on target on Sunday were Dewi Jones (2), Russ Vaughan (2) and Kevin Jones.

Point of Ayr Vets 1-4 Hawarden Rangers Vets

A hard-fought victory over Point of Ayr Vets saw Hawarden maintain their 100 percent start to the season as they head into the winter break.

Goals from Alan Dawson (2), Sam Pugh and Steve Evans clinched a 4-1 success in horrendous weather conditions. Roger Dakin scored for Point.

Hawarden have now won six out of six with 40 goals scored and just three conceded.
