PREVIEWS

Bar Bow v Six Bells

The sound of Bow-Bells will be heard on a field in Rhyl this Sunday.

Bar Bow and Six Bells are set to meet for the first time this season.

Bow are performing well, with 18 goals scored in their last three games and although they lost 5-3 at Conwy Comrades in the Challenge Cup last weekend, the Rhyl team did put up a decent show.

Martin King has scored seven goals in three games for Bow – can he weave his magic again this Sunday?

Six Bells have shown snatches of good form so far, but have suffered from a lack of games and lost 5-1 at Royal Oak in the Challenge Cup last Sunday.

Y Clwb v Royal Oak

This could be a cracker – two form sides meet at Glan Conwy.

Unbeaten Y Clwb have recorded four wins and a draw to date and have led the table.

Royal Oak have won three of their last four and dished out an emphatic 5-1 beating of Six Bells in the Challenge Cup last weekend.

These two met in the Premier Cup quarter-finals on October 17 and Y Clwb defeated the Oak 6-4 at home.

Rhyl Wanderers v FC Mally

Mally would be more than happy with a repeat of the 8-0 triumph they enjoyed at Wanderers on the opening day of the season in the Challenge Cup.

The Junction side looked to be coming back to form last Sunday when they defeated Millbank 3-0 – again in the Challenge Cup.

Wanderers slumped 8-0 in their last game at Conwy Comrades and have shipped a lot of goals this season, but they have had closer battles too, drawing at Y Clwb and Millbank, proving they are a very capable side on their day.

Millbank v Conwy Comrades

Second hosts first in what should be a keenly-fought contest at Coronation Gardens.

Millbank have lost two of their last three outings, but in other games have shown the ability to finish on top in close tussles.

Apart from a blip at home to Y Clwb on October 24, Comrades have been very solid and in Jamie Haggas they possess a striker right in the groove.
