North Wales Coast West League: Alwyn Roberts nets six in Llandegai rout, Nefyn top the table

PREMIER DIVISION

Alwyn Roberts was a six-goal star in Mynydd Llandegai’s thumping 10-0 win at Amlwch Town.

Roberts produced a ruthless display of finishing as he grabbed a hat-trick in each half.

Damien Smith, Dylan Price Jones, David Hayes and Gethin Jeffreys added one apiece for the away side.

Nefyn United moved three points clear at the summit with a 3-0 success at Aberffraw.

Dylan Sion Jones (2) and Guto Sion Roberts shared the goals for the Penwaig, who made it 10 wins in 12 starts.

In a much-anticipated clash of high-flyers, Penrhyndeudraeth took the honours 2-1 at Pwllheli.

Aaron Griffiths and Huw Quaeck scored on 25 and 56 minutes respectively for the away side, who are fifth in the table with just one loss in eight.

Jamie Banks netted for Pwllheli in first half added time.

Gwalchmai finished up 3-0 winners at Glantraeth, Jenson Rowlands, Connor Owen (penalty) and Alex Cooper with a goal each.

Llanberis took the points at Gaerwen with a 5-2 triumph, Gethin Maxwell (2), Tomos Saynor, Gethin Wakeham (pen) and Cal MacDonald putting the Darans in command, Meurig Evans and Iwan Jones responding.

DIVISION ONE

Bethesda Athletic’s nine-match unbeaten run came to an end as Llanystumdwy pulled off a surprise 5-3 victory at Parc Meurig.

Sion Parry notched yet another hat-trick for the visitors to edge up to 22 league goals for the season and 25 in all competitions.

Tomos Williams added two more, while Pesda replied through Osian Hughes and Scott Hughes (2).

Second-place Talysarn Celts edged a 3-2 decision at CPD Cefni, Rhodri Jones, Jac Jones and Garem Jones on target for the winning side, Ben Wright and Connor Roberts running the home team close.

Ever-improving Cemaes Bay were relentless in whipping Waunfawr 5-0 away.

Andy Williams (2), Rhys Lloyd, Keenan Downey and Mike Davies made up the nap-hand in a cracking performance.
