Llandudno extended their unbeaten run in the JD Cymru North league to nine games after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Llanidloes Town at Maesdu Park last Saturday.

Lee Thomas, Shaun Cavanagh and Dean Seager all found the net for Sean Eardley’s men.

The Seasiders began the game in lively fashion and in just the seventh minute a sweeping counter move ended with Thomas breaking the deadlock.

The home side hit the post and went close on several other occasions before making it 2-0 in the 37th minute.

An exquisite long ball found the in-form Cavanagh who finished well to double the lead.

Only a fantastic save from Daffs keeper Luke Evans from a Neil Ashton free kick stopped it being three.

However, on the stroke of half time Seager made it 3-0 to round off a dominant 45 minutes from the hosts.

No further goals in the second half, but a comfortable sixth league win on the bounce for Tudno.

Winning manager Eardley said after the game: “We knew it would be a tough ask, there’s no easy games in the league.

“We just wanted to keep the run going, which we did – that;’s six on the bounce now.

“We’ve got a really tough October coming up, it’s one that the boys are buzzing for, so we’re going to have everyone champing at the bit.”
