Leaders Buckley are just seven points away from guaranteed promotion to Division One heading into Bank Holiday Monday’s home clash with Mold 2nd XI.
Louis Parry’s side strengthened their position at the top with Saturday’s eight-wicket win at Gresford seconds.
Bucks are 15 points clear of second-place Marchwiel and Wrexham with three rounds of matches remaining.
Gresford elected to bat and posted a modest 121-6 from 40 overs, Wes Evans scoring 40 not out and Gez Jones 30.
Adam Shaw was the star bowler for the visitors with 4-17 from nine overs.
In response, Buckley coasted to 125-2 in just 20.3 overs, Seren Smale top-scoring with 39, fellow opener William Norman 38 not out and Jack Williams 32 no.

Openers Aneesh Pattali (78 not out) and Suresh Lakmal Koswaththage (74 no) put on an unbroken 161 to guide Bersham to a 10-wicket win at Mold seconds.
The hosts were limited to 157-9, Connah Roberts 51 no and Noa Grant 50, Rathnayaka Mudiyanselage Shanka taking 4-18 and Nilanka De Silva 2-20 for the visitors.

NORTHOP 2ND XI (11) 69-9 ST ASAPH 2ND XI (4) 68-10

Northop seconds scraped over the finish line to record a one-wicket victory in a low-scoring contest.
Saints were all out for 68, Mike Thompson 24, Finn Jenkins 3-9, Sion Ferguson 2-12 and Joe Griffiths 2-13 for the hosts.
Northop got home on 69-9, Amer Jamil taking 3-25 for Saints, Elliot Goddard 2-4 and Thompson 2-13.
