Scott Brown was on target for Mochdre Sports

NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE REPORTS – SATURDAY, AUGUST 8

PREMIER DIVISION

Mochdre Sports made it back-to-back wins after recovering from a goal down to beat Rhuddlan Town 2-1 at Pengwern College.

Ben Smith’s goal handed Rhuddlan a half-time lead, but in the second half Chris Lloyd and Scott Brown struck to turn the tables.

Town ended the match with nine men following the dismissals of Matty Rees and Ian Davenport.

Kinmel Bay and Llandudno Junction shared a 2-2 draw.

Jordan Worthington provided both Kinmel goals in the first half, but two late net finders from George Roberts (penalty) and Adam Carpenter secured the Railwaymen a point.

DIVISION ONE

Abergele hit Llandudno Amateurs for six without reply.

Ant Zoezee, Jack Hoult, Dom Holland, James Lloyd, Zack Lawrence and Lewis Moroney shared the goals, while Ryan Pamment was the home side man of the match.

There was a great result for Rhyl Dragons who held Cerrigydrudion to a 2-2 draw away from home.

Adam Cassidy, with a magnificent long-range effort, and Jack Gibbon, who rounded off a sweeping move with a cracking finish, earned the visitors a deserved point.

Andrew Hession notched both for Cerrig.

Morgan Groom’s double earned Penrhyn Bay Dragons a 2-1 success at Henllan, John Owen with a late reply for the hosts.

Rhos United’s run of draws continued as they were held 1-1 by Y Glannau.

Scott Court gave Rhos a half time lead, but Rhys Thomas Clark equalised to bank the visitors a point.

NFA took the honours 6-1 at Betws-y-Coed. Sam Jones, Ste Falvey (2), Paul Vinall, Shaun Edwards and Liam Bowers provided the away goals.
