REPORT

Cefn Mawr Rangers 3

Chirk Town 7

Nicky Williams added another four goals to his collection as Chirk Town took the spoils on derby day at The Muga,

The Tav started well with prolific marksman Williams putting them one-up after 10 minutes. Following a ball over the defence, he calmly lobbed the keeper from 15 yards out.

Cefn equalised not long after after a couple of misplaced passes got punished when Ben Duffy scored.

Aaron Davies continued his fine net finding run with a brace before half time with the pick a left-footed volley from a Josh Williams corner to make it 3-1 at the break after Chris Roberts missed a penalty for Cefn on the stroke of the interval.

The second half saw a much improved performance from the Tav, Jonny Mitchell-Conlan heading home his first goal for the club to make it 4-1 on 51 minutes.

Rangers got another back just after the hour mark through Harri Lucas-Jones after a good passing move.

Then Williams put the game to bed with two quickfire headers to complete the hat-trick.

Gavin Price made it 6-3 on 84 before Williams scored the goal of the game and his fourth after outpacing the Rangers defence to outrageously finish with a rabona past the onrushing keeper.
