All-square at Tan Parc between these two island rivals on Friday night.

Chris Bennett and Mark Jones put Llan 2-0 up but Berffro hit back to be level at half time.

Gresford Athletic 2 Caernarfon Town 2

Goals by Cai Jones and Darren Thomas put Cymru Premier outfit Caernarfon two ahead only for two penalties for the hosts to restore parity.

Joe Chaplin and Mike Pritchard both converted from the spot for Gresford.

Trialists and under-19’s who turned out for Caernarfon were impressive and gave a great account of themselves.

Gresford’s performance delighted manager Eddie Maurice-Jones and director of football Steve Halliwell.

Chirk AAA Reserves 1 Ruabon Rovers 2

A late goal from former Wrexham player Mark Jones gave Rovers the win at Holyhead Road.
In a close, competitive game, Chirk were edged out by the late strike.
Harvey Edwards scored Chirk’s solitary goal.

Mountain Rangers 1 Waunfawr 2

The Beganifs triumphed in Friday night’s friendly at Cae Gors thanks to goals from Shaun Roberts and Osian Tomlinson.
