Cymru Premier champions Connah’s Quay Nomads have signed 33-year-old winger Jamie Mullan from The New Saints.

Mullan has spent the last eight years at TNS, and prior to his time at the Shropshire-based club, represented Alfreton, Stalybridge and Fleetwood, as well as Northwich Victoria under current Quay manager Andy Morrison.

Mullan has been a Cymru Premier Team of the Season regular and was also voted League Player of the Season in the 2017/18 campaign.

On his arrival, Nomads chief Morrison commented: “I’ve worked with Jamie before, so I know what he brings to the table – for me, he is still the best winger in the league.

“Our training methods, sports science and demands will mean, like those before him, he will improve and have many successful years ahead of him.

“It’s difficult to find footballers who improve your squad – at Connah’s Quay, we have shown so many times that an experienced player with a point to prove is a fantastic addition.

“Welcome to the Champions Jamie.”

Mullan will be available for selection for the Nomads’ second UEFA Champions’ League campaign and will join up with the rest of the squad when they return to training on Tuesday 8th June. Mullan will wear the No 7 shirt at Deeside.
