Rhyl All Stars make two new signings and line up six pre-season friendlies

New Rhyl All Stars signing Rhys Machin

Rhyl All Stars have added two promising new faces to their squad for the 2021-22 season.

Both players arrive from Rhuddlan Town, the 2019-20 Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division champions.

They are centre-back Rhys Machin and striker Harrison Bellis.

Machin is a strong young performer at the back who should greatly enhance the All Stars’ defensive options this season. He can offer quality positioning both on and off the ball.

Rhys spent a full season at Rhuddlan Town but has a desire for more game time and hopes he can secure this with his new team.

All Stars manager Robert Cunnah said: “We would like to thank Rhuddlan Town and point out their desire for Rhys to get more playing time so he can reach his full potential.

“I am delighted to have signed Rhys. He’s a talented young defender with plenty of potential to continue to improve.”

Harrison Bellis

Also joining from Rhuddlan is youngster Bellis.

A sharpshooting forward who has a very good eye for the back of the net, Bellis also possesses great movement on and off the ball.

All Stars boss Cunnah added: “We hope he can provide us with some added goals and add to our strong attacking options.

“I’m really happy to have signed Harrison, he’s a quality young forward who’s only going to add to the quality in the team. It was a no-brainer signing really, he’s still very young and has much potential to grow into a real talent.”

The North Wales Coast East Division One side will compete for honours against the following sides in the 2021-22 campaign: Abergele FC, Betws-y-Coed, Caer Clwyd, Cerrigydrudion, Denbigh Development, Henllan, Llandudno Amateurs, Llanelwy Athletic, Llysfaen, Machno United, NFA, Penrhyn Bay Dragons, Rhos United, Rhyl Dragons and Y Glannau.
