Moves are underway to form a rugby league side on the isle of Anglesey.
Experienced player Dafydd Jones is behind Marchogion Môn Knights, a new venture which has launched on social media in a bid to gauge interest in the 13-man game on the island.
Dafydd, from Llanfechell, is currently playing for North Wales Crusaders and has turned out for Salford Red Devils Reserves and Halifax RLFC, whilst also representing Wales Rugby League Students and Dragonhearts.
He said: “I am slowly adding members to our Facebook group with interest in playing some rugby league in June/July 2021. Nothing serious, just a bit of fun with hopefully some laughs and beers after.”
Anyone interested can contact Dafydd on Twitter via: @Dafydd_Jones or log on to the private Facebook group Marchogion- MÔN – Knights Rugby League Players, press ‘like’ and get involved!
