Ffiôn Evans of Corwen Women FC chooses Team No 26 in the North Wales Dream XI series.
QPR fan Ffiôn, who was 19 on March 13, can operate on either wing, but often plays left-back.
She is one of many of the current Corwen women squad who have developed through the club’s youth teams, co-ordinated by the late and much-missed Huw “Chick” Jones.
Ffiôn follows previous Dream Team ‘managers’ Shona Roberts, Ellie Sandiford, Carol Lewis, Ceryl Jones, Paige Williams (Amlwch), Tegan Hewitt, Alaw Davies-Smith, Nia Wyn Ellis, Annmarie Jones, Fflur Williams, Chelsea Evans, Abby Williams, Gwenno Gibbard Bolton, Lexi Crawley, Claire Colville, Cerys Gadd, Libby McClelland, Meinir Thomas, Erica Jones, Rachel Roberts, Beca Williams, Mari Gibbard, Emily Jones, Cara Wyn Hughes and Catrin Wyn Thomas.
Excellent keeper in a strong or a struggling team, always puts in a great shift.
Played with Rach for years. A very solid defensive player who can play anywhere across the back, brilliant work ethic and reads the game well.
An excellent young player for Bethel. Great strength and very pacey. Brilliant on the counter attack.
Played with Alaw at Corwen for the last couple of seasons. A very strong and skillful player all over the pitch, great communicator and leader too.
Really strong defensive player, always puts in a solid tackle and is very pacey as well. Tremendous ambassador for Pwllheli and women’s football.
A very talented young player, always tricky to play against due to her pace and very quick feet.
Powerful and physical player, has a great shot on her as well.
Excellent attacking midfielder, very robust and a challenge to play against. Happy birthday to you!
Thoroughly enjoyed playing with Llywela at Corwen, a great attacking and defensive player. Really creative player and can strike the ball well too!
Brilliant striker, confident in taking on players and always manages to find the net wherever she plays.
Another great young striker, excellent pace and a real eye for goal. Did really well in Division One last season for one so young.
