Our brilliant broadcaster S4C brings back live Cymru Premier football to our screens early next month.

Saturday, March 6, will see Sgorio show live coverage of the top of the table cracker between The New Saints and Bala Town.

In a statement, S4C announced: “As proud supporters of Welsh football, S4C and Sgorio welcome the announcement that the JD Cymru Premier will return to elite status next month.

“Although supporters will not yet be attending matches, we are very pleased to be able to offer comprehensive coverage of the JD Cymru Premier from now until the end of the season.

“We will be showing a live match every weekend and highlights packages every week on S4C, as well as live web broadcasts of midweek matches.

“Sgorio will resume on Tuesday 2 March, with a web broadcast of the match between Newtown and Pen-y-bont, at 8.00pm.

“Then on Saturday 6 March, Sgorio will show live coverage of The New Saints v Bala Town, from 4.45pm on S4C. English commentary is available via the red button service.

“JD Cymru Premier highlights will be shown on Sgorio Stwnsh, at 5.30pm every Monday from 8 March, and Mwy o Sgorio, at 10pm every Wednesday night from 10 March.”

Also next month, Wales begin their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, and Sgorio will bring live coverage of each and every match. Watch Wales’ first qualifying match, away to Belgium, live on S4C on Wednesday night, 24 April.
