The latest footballer to choose her all-time North Wales Women’s XI is Cerys Gadd of Amlwch Town.
A goal-scoring midfield star for Bangor City, Amlwch and Caernarfon Town in their golden spell from 2009-11, Cerys has played alongside some of the very best.
A trusted goalkeeper and excellent shot stopper. Julio can also play outfield and is a nuisance when I’ve played against her in centre midfield.
Ali had an excellent left foot and was technically brilliant on the ball. Played for Manchester United, Wales up to under-19 and Caernarfon Town.
Always a tough opponent to face, Lowri can read the game and her pace is such an asset at centre half. She can also find the net ! Last season she scored five goals in back-to-back games for Pwllheli.
You can always rely on Kim to make a crucial tackle. Her timing is perfect and makes the game look easy. I’ve never seen a player so calm!
I really like her strength, pace and passion. She was amazing during the Inter-Island Games 2019. Always stood out as one of Llandudno’s better players in the Welsh Premier League.
Definitely the best player I’ve played alongside. Ceryl could skip past any player with her skills, it looked easy and brilliant to watch.
I’m relieved that Catrin plays at the same club. She is already causing problems for teams with her pace and skill.
Only 18 years old, there is a lot more to come from Catrin!
In two seasons as a senior, she has netted 32 goals in the North Wales League.
A Welsh international and one of the best players of her time.
I had the pleasure to play alongside her at Caernarfon Town. Her presence in centre midfield was unbelievable, the perfect all-round player.
Not only an excellent player, she’s an excellent coach and has been developing young players around the Caernarfon area for over 20 years.
A confident young player who is versatile and can play in any position. A great asset to any squad.
She knows where the goal is, her goal scoring record over the last 10 years says it all!
In the past three seasons alone, she has scored 59 goals in the North Wales League across all competitions and was top-scorer at the 2019 Inter-Island Games for Ynys Môn.
A pacey forward who could score goals for fun. Shan was offered a football scholarship and moved out to the USA in 2013 where she had a successful playing career.
