Seven different players made the scoresheet as Nomads rattled up a big win over visitors Wrexham this afternoon.
Becky Jarvis-Evans and Becca Bannister both scored twice for Stephen Boyes’ side and there was a goal apiece for Ellie Sandiford, Lani Bouckley, Rachael Nattrass, Louisha Doran and Jasmin Dutton.
A fine result for the Quay on the back of a 6-3 victory against Amlwch in their opening friendly.
Nomads manager Boyes said: “What a squad. Played their hearts out right until the last minutes of the game.
“Couldn’t ask for anything more from these girls especially in the cold, wet wintery conditions. They earned a well deserved rest over the Christmas period.”
Lauren Reese replied for the Dragons, who have already shown some promise this pre-season and will have better days than this.
A goal from debutant Kylan Ellis was the only highlight of a poor performance from the Millbank.
In a match played in poor conditions, the hosts got what they deserved, with Rhyl Vets much the better side overall.
