Most memorable game played in

Not as a personal game for myself but just one I’ll never forget would have to be the semi final of the 2018-19 FAW Trophy, Cefn Albion v STM Sports at Newtown.

I got injured the week before in training. I felt my hamstring go so I knew I’d be out for the game, but on the day I went out before the warm up to see how it was and I tried my best not to limp in front of the gaffer so I could play, but he said there’s no chance I’m playing after he had a look at me warming up so I was on the bench.

The game was 1-1 at full time so it went into extra time and about 10 minutes in I was brought on but I could hardly run.

Into the second half of extra time think there was seven left to go before penalties and the ball got played over the top and I’ve seen the keeper coming off his line and lobbed him to make it 2-1.

In the end we won 3-1 to go through to the final.

Biggest highlight of football career so far

Winning the FAW Trophy and the Welsh National League Premier Division Cup in the same season

Best goal scored

Best I can remember would be in a pre-season game at The Rock. I think it was three seasons ago. I was playing against Prestatyn Sports and I scored an overhead kick

Most goals in a single game

I think it’s just the three in one game

Most goals in a single season

I think it was 29 about three seasons ago

Strengths to your game

I’d say pace, passing, my touch and I’d like to say shooting but after some training sessions I’d say it’s more of a weakness haha

Weaknesses

Heading, and I’d say patience and staying focused because I can drift in and out of games if the game’s not going well

Best team-mate played alongside

Robbie Parry scores for Bangor

I’ve had a few top class players I’ve played with but I’d have to say Robbie Parry when I was at Wrexham with him. We were only young but nobody could get anywhere near him. He’s at Bangor City now

Hardest/best opponent faced

Steve Evans, Wales (Photo by Mike Egerton – PA Images via Getty Images)

Hardest would no doubt about it be Steve Evans. I faced him when I played against Lex and best would be when I played against Bangor City – Alex Darlington and Les Davies  I think Alex scored 4 and Les just won everything that was played up to him.

Funniest team-mate

There’s a few clowns I’ve had. Asa Hamilton is definitely up there and Matty Pierce can have a mention

Personal football ambitions

Play as high as I can and for as long as I can and to try and win as many trophies as I can

Best after-match venue

There a few…..Mold, Cefn, Newtown and Aberystwyth are up there.

Best film seen

Got to be a classic like Snatch or Gladiator

Current favourite song

I’ll listen to anything but Joel Corry’s new song is a head bopper
