Two more former giants of CPD Llannerchymedd have rejoined the club.

Tomos Jones and Deion Evans are back at Tan Parc after spending last season at CPD Gwalchmai.

Jones, known as Horse for his exceptional work rate on the field, is another excellent re-signing for Llan. His ability to perform anywhere on the pitch and stamina to match will be a big asset for the Medd.

He is also former player for Bangor City Under-21s, Holyhead Hotspur and Bodedern, where he won the Welsh Alliance title.

Evans, another local lad, has been busy getting fitter, leaner and is focused on the coming season after a slight dip in his form last season.

A former Shrewsbury Town youth player, Deion has also been a standout player for Holyhead Hotspur and Llangefni Town in the past.

Deion said: “I can’t wait to get back on the Tan Parc pitch. After a personal decision to push my fitness level to where it was a few seasons ago, I’m now happy and ready to go.”

After a very pleasing 2018-19 season where they finished sixth in Welsh Alliance Division Two, Llannerchymedd lost the majority of their squad to other clubs in summer 2019 and dropped to the Gwynedd League.

They finished bottom of that league last season, but now a rebuilding job is well underway, with several top class players already making their return to the all-greens.
