The Football Association of Wales have released the following statement relating to the Coronavirus which was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation today.
“The FAW are monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak on a daily basis and are following advice set by Public Health Wales as well as the Chief Medical Officers for Wales and the UK.
“The safety of fans, players and other FAW stakeholders will be considered the priority for all FAW matches and events taking place in the coming weeks and months.
“These include, but not limited to, senior men’s, women’s and intermediate international matches, domestic matches and other FAW events.
“The current FAW stance is that all matches will be going ahead. However, we appreciate that the situation is constantly evolving and we will be in constant dialogue with relevant parties to adapt to any changes over the coming days and weeks.
“Further information will be released to fans and media as and when it becomes available.”
