Happy birthday Bob Brodie – update on the goals race

The late, great Bob Brodie. Happy birthday good friend

Today is Bob Brodie’s birthday.

Football fans in Anglesey and beyond are thinking of him today.

To mark the occasion, here are the latest standings in the Bob Brodie Trophy.

The trophy is competed for every season and recognises the top goalscorer in Anglesey senior football.

The competition was introduced in 2012 to celebrate the life and football legacy of Bob, a former player and manager on the island, who sadly passed away the year before.
