What a fantastic way for the Druids to end the first phase of their Cymru Premier fixtures!
Trailing 1-0 at Maes Tegid until the 76th minute, returning league legend Jamie Reed scored a late double to seal three points, including the decider deep into overtime.
The result was not quite enough to secure the Ancients a top-six place, but still it was a tremendous achievement to win at third-place Bala.

Llanrwst had not lost for some time and Hotspur were beaten 5-1 there in November, so Dean Garmey’s side performed marvels to edge a nine-goal thriller at Parc Gwydir to advance to the Trophy quarter-finals.
Chris Jones, scorer of so many famous goals in a Bangor City shirt, delivered a priceless hat-trick for the visitors, whose other marksmen were Deian Parry and Dewi Thomas.

Not too many visiting teams win at Llanrug, let alone by a 4-1 margin, so a fantastic feat by Bodedern to triumph so convincingly at Eithin Duon.
The remarkably consistent Dean Redmond and Shaun Jenkins both scored twice to secure a great win which keeps Boded among the leading pack in sixth.

When bottom of the table travel to top, the likely result is usually a heavy win for the home side, but not Saturday!
I hope Pentraeth won’t mind, but I’ll steal these words from their Facebook page as a summary of an excellent effort.
“A great point away from home against the league leaders. A great team effort from everyone and a man of the match performance from debutant Tom Verburg.
“A fantastic performance and result to build on.”

Have already covered this in depth elsewhere on the website, but it still has to merit a big mention given it was Llandegfan’s first league win in two-and-a-half years.
Dêf Parry’s double clinched the points after 21st birthday boy Lewis Owen had edged the hosts in front.
If are first you don’t succeed etc……Llandegfan are an inspiration.

Another game to be highlighted on the website at the weekend, but another more than worthy of further praise in our highlights feature.
Having lost 16-0 at home to Mountain Rangers in the league seven days earlier, I guess the bookies would have swayed towards another big win for the visitors at Plas Arthur in the Dargie Cup.
But Cefni had form in giving Rangers hard tests previously this season before the 16-0 debacle, and Graham “Squeez” Jones’ side delivered a sensational riposte.
Ben Wright (2, 1 pen) notched the all-important goals to complete the biggest turnaround since….since…..since….(fill in gap).
