Playing football with the boys at primary school. I stopped playing football when I went to secondary school and only joined back 20+ years later after my rugby injury, which was in 2012. I had a baby in 2013 and joined football in 2014 (I was 28 getting back into it).
Robbie Fowler
Centre back/Left back
Betty Pickering Cup Final in 2016 for Caernarfon Town against Amlwch, which we won 1-0. My friend Lexi (Crawley – then Musgrave) scored the winning goal for Caernarfon although she’s played mostly for Amlwch which is ironic. It is the only football game my parents have ever watched.
Winning the North Wales League Division Two title with my hometown team Bethesda.
Tackling (core strength) and speed (I’m quick considering I carry a lot of weight).
Dribbling skills
Too many to choose from…..but I’m going to say Wales international and ex-Liverpool player Katie Williams (now Davies). Loved playing with her at the back for Caernarfon; she was experienced and taught me a lot.
Hated playing against Cerys Gadd, strong, good player and a good friend too.
Keith Fearns, learnt a lot from him in a short period of time. He took us to Benidorm to play football, what more could you want from a coach
Sioned Bohana – she has always made me laugh!
I’m the best dancer of course? Put Proud Mary or Johnny B. Goode on and I’ll show you….
I’ve played for four different football teams in seven years so do my ex-teams’ grounds count? Love playing on 4G…
I’ve recently joined Bethel Ladies and have thoroughly enjoyed my first months there, they are lovely girls and the coaching is brilliant. I have learnt a lot in the last few months with them and look forward to the rest of the season.
KitKat Chunky

Played centre at school but only joined netball in 2018. But interestingly I was part of a Sunday School netball team that won a cup when I was 11
Interceptions and dedication
Lack of understanding of rules haha and passing
The youngest member of Tim o Walis: Elen! Such a mature and composed player.
I like playing Arfon Celts, we always have a close and good game with them.
Menai Mavericks are like lightening
Eeeek I have no idea about famous netaballers sorry but do like the sessions we have with Lucie Leonard!
Football – and I used to play rugby and squash
Keep playing and not get injured!!!
Watching boxsets, eating and doing active stuff with the kids.
