Mountain Rangers Ladies have added a top class defender to their squad.
The North Wales Women’s League Division Two side are delighted to have secured the services of left-back Sioned Bohana from Llandudno, who resigned from the Welsh Premier Women’s League last week.
Bohana, 30, has spent the majority of her football career with Caernarfon Town, having started playing the game in her years at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen.
She was a member of Caernarfon’s 2016-17 North Wales Women’s League title-winning side, scoring a hat-trick in one game, and represented the Cofis on numerous occasions in the Welsh Premier.
The hard-tackling defender now rejoins former Canaries team-mates Katie Bowe, Elena Julio, Danielle Barnfield, Kim Broadbent, Sara Williams and Catrin Thomas at Cae Gors.
While short of on the field action in recent weeks, the Llamas have been busy adding players to their squad, the signing of Bohana coming hot on the heels of capturing Thomas from Llandudno.
Sioned had been outstanding in defence for Tudno this season, particularly standing out in the recent 6-1 Welsh Cup victory against Llanfair United.
Rangers chairman Martin Jones said: “With the news regarding Llandudno pulling out of the Welsh Premier League, the club swooped to sign Sioned.
“She rejoins her partner in crime Catrin Wyn Thomas and will bring in experience and a one hell of a left boot.”
