Netball: Gwynedd and Anglesey Winter League – Tuesday and Wednesday action

Menai Mavericks were in winning form again on Wednesday night

Arran and Menai Mavericks maintained their strong starts to the Gwynedd and Anglesey Winter Netball League season by winning their respective Division One matches on Wednesday night.

Leading 12-9 at half time, Arran went on to defeat Primos 23-15, while Mavericks proved too strong in the end for Walis, eventually winning 32-17 despite being held 10-10 at half time.

Just two matches went ahead in Division Two on Tuesday, the best of which seeing Pwllheli Subway Warriors produce a big last quarter to pip WaliB’s 28-27.
