Rest of the Leagues: North East Wales, Vale of Clwyd and Conwy plus Anglesey round-ups

Chirk Town remain undefeated in the North East Wales League

North East Wales League

Just four games in the North East Wales League on Saturday, but they produced a massive 41 goals!

After suffering their first defeat of the season the previous weekend, leaders Brymbo Victoria bounced back in style with a 13-0 breeze at Bradley Park.

Paul Messham and George Phoenix netted four each, Tom Holmes and Finley Dyer added two apiece and Adam Lloyd contributed a single.

Ben Hughes hit six in Penyffordd Lions’ 12-1 caning of Bellevue, Sam Richardson bagging a treble, Drew Davies a double and Mark Gallagher pocketed one. Ahmed Elgattani was on target for Bellevue.

Undefeated Chirk Town stayed that way with a 9-2 away pummeling of Mold Town United, Tom Freeman (3), Cameron Roberts (2), Matt Cooke (2), Lewis Penrose and Jordan Dooley making up the winning tally, Luke Rush and Brandon Jones responding.

Niall Challoner (3, 2 pens) and a Curtis Neary own goal guided Acton to a 4-0 result at Borras Park Albion.

Postponed: Caerwys v Sychdyn.

Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League

Only one game was played in the league on Saturday, Y Glannau recording a 5-3 success at Llanelwy Athletic in the Premier Division.

Chris Rogers, Adam Hall, John Davies, Connor Heath and Joey Fontana all registered for the winning away team, Ste Kirk, Neil Fazackerley and Luke Stanley replying.

Anglesey League

Cemaes Bay moved eight points clear at the Anglesey League summit with a 6-1 verdict at Bodorgan.

Dylan Jones and Keenan Downey netted two apiece for the visitors, Steven Whittaker and Tam Morton one each. Rhodri Williams was Bodorgan’s sole hitman.

Ben Wright and Gwion Williams struck for Cefni in their 2-0 win over Holyhead Town Reserves.

In round one of the Dargie Cup, Holyhead Hotspur Reserves edged a cracker at Pentraeth Reserves 3-2.

Mike Edwards, Josh Batson and Craig Moore were the Hotspur marksmen, Lewis Owen and Tom Jones running Pentraeth so close.
