Goal Attack

Represented

Strengths of game

Rebounds in the circle, good balance, understand my players

Weaknesses of game

Tunnel vision, can sometimes be too wild and do silly mistakes e.g foot fault.

Most talented team mate

I think as a team every single player is very talented in their own way. I admire every single one of my team mates and they’re all very talented to me.

Best game played in

Arfon Celts are lovely opponents, says Sarah

I enjoy playing every single game and each game gets better every time. However, I do enjoy playing against Arfon Celts, they’re a lovely team to play against.

Best opponent faced

Back when I played for Bangor Red Socks, I played against Porthmadog and it was the hardest game I’ve ever played because Catrin Williams is an amazing defender.

Netball idols

Sarah and her idol Miss Caroline Davies

Miss Caroline Davies. She has had many years of experience in netball and she was the only person who pushed me to play netball. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be playing netball.

Ambitions in netball

Would love to develop my skills and play for Wales one day.

Favourite hobbies

Sarah (third left) after a Tough Mudder event

I love going for walks with my mother and play netball. I also like to take part in crazy activities such as Tough Mudder. And I love to stilt walk in parades.

Sarah engages in one of her favourite pastimes – stilt walking!

Occupation

Full-time student in Bangor University, studying childhood and youth studies. I also have a part time job in FronGoch garden centre and take part in placement in a local primary school.

Best country visited

Sarah having fun canoeing in France

Cannes, south of France. Went to visit my best friend in the summer and it was a beautiful place.

How often do you use the gym

Never use the gym, I prefer being outdoors

Favourite season of the year

Autumn, because I love it when the leaves change colour.

What car do you drive?

Vauxhall Corsa, eco flex.

Favourite food

I just love food in general.

Favourite drink

Milk

Best musical artist

Mumford and Sons. Went to see them in Dublin last year and in Sheffield during the summer. Also a big fan of Lewis Capaldi.

Plans for Christmas

Spend time with the family because they are my whole world. And eat a lot of junk food and then complain that I’ve put weight on.
