Netball: Night of thrillers in Division Two of Gwynedd and Anglesey Winter League

Llangefni produced a stunning comeback to win their Division Two match

What a thrilling night of close matches it was in Division Two of the Gwynedd and Anglesey Winter Netball League.

There was a stunning last quarter performance from Llangefni in their 20-18 victory over Walibees.

Entering the final segment, Walibees were 16-11 ahead, but Cefni rallied to win the session 9-2 and ultimately the match.

Wnion also came on strong in the last quarter of their 26-22 success against Pwllheli Subway Warriors.

Subway led 19-18 before the curtain-closer which Wnion win big 8-3 to take the victory.

Mellt edged the tightest of 13-12 triumphs against Tacos in a game which was close all the way through.

And Amigos produced a tremendous fightback in the second half against Somberos, but it proved all in vain. Sombreros had built up too big a lead and prevailed 22-15.
