There is a new leader in the Bob Brodie Trophy goals table.

Steven Whittaker’s hat-trick for Cemaes Bay in an 8-1 win over Llanfairpwll on Friday night made him the first player to reach 20 goals this season in Anglesey senior soccer.

Although there were a number of games cancelled at the weekend, there was still quite a bit of activity in the goals chart, with Ryan Rowlands of Amlwch Town edging up to a handy 15.

The Bob Brodie Trophy is competed for annually to reward the top goal-getter in Anglesey senior football. It is named in honour of Bob, a popular former player and manager who lived on the island and sadly left us in 2011.
