A great second half fightback from Holywell was not quite enough to earn them a first point of the season.
Caernarfon were on top in the first period, Georgia Bain and Lisa Jones (2) getting the goals, although the margin of lead was perhaps a little flattering to the Cofis.
In the second 45 minutes the Wellwomen really found their feet.
Caitlin Hadaway reduced the arrears with a really composed finish and Leah Davies-Williams added a second.
Overall, a draw might have been a fairer result, but it was Caernarfon who took maximum spoils at Halkyn Road.
Nonetheless, a fine game which will give both these developing sides confidence going forward.
