Nefyn United of the fifth-tier Gwynedd League have landed a massive tie at home to eight-time competition winners Bangor City in the next stage of the 2019-20 Welsh Cup.

The Penwaig advanced to the first round proper on Saturday with a 7-4 away victory at Welsh Alliance Division One outfit Mynydd Llandegai.

Meanwhile, fellow Gwynedd League outfit Bangor 1876, 6-2 conquerors of Penrhyndeudraeth from WAL Division One at the weekend, are home again in round one to Welsh National League Premier Division outfit Penycae.

One of the ties of the round will see Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, second in the Cymru North, host current leaders of that league, Prestatyn Town.

Colwyn Bay will mark their return to the competition with a visit to fellow Cymru North side Corwen.

Mynydd Isa Spartans of WNL Division One, surprise winners at Denbigh Town in the second qualifying round, have been drawn at home to Llanfair United.

All ties will be played next month.
