Welsh National League Premier Division leaders Brymbo were left stunned by a 4-1 defeat at Llanuwchllyn.

Billy New put the visitors into a 13th minute lead, but Joe Evans soon brought things level before goals from Dave Jones, Sam Evans and Tom Jones put the hosts out of sight and condemned Brymbo to just their second loss of the season.

After two defeats and a draw on the road FC Queen’s Park faced their fourth away fixture on the bounce and emerged 3-1 winners at Chirk AAA.

The Park took the lead following a long clearance from keeper Scott Williams, which saw James Gregory beat the offside trap and whip a first time volley into the top corner.

The second followed quickly via a bullet header from Luke Hughes.

Ben White chipped a delightful lob just over the bar before Tony Jones forced a great save from the Chirk keeper.

The second half started with Chirk on the front foot and they pulled a goal back.

After a couple of substitutions both Aled Powell and Gary Tomlinson added some control back into the game for the Park and it was the former who managed to seal the win with a poacher’s header after some great work by Barry Torrence.

Rhostyllen are the new leaders after Tom Douglas (3) and Lee McBurney secured a 4-0 victory at Llay Welfare.

Holywell Town were in ruthless form as they stormed to a 5-0 success at Brickfield Rangers.

Jake Cooke (2), Sam Jones, James Graham and Ben Brierley shared the riches for the Wellmen, who have now amassed 21 goals in their last four matches in all competitions.

Callum Mannion and Alex Williams were on the mark for Cefn Albion in a narrow 2-1 triumph over Saltney Town, Paul Johnson responding.

Danny Warren, Dan Lloyd, Ben Howarth and Lee Jones all found the net in Mold Alexandra’s convincing 4-1 win at Rhos Aelwyd.

Penycae defeated Castell Alun 4-0, Jack Edwards, Jack Abraham, Connor Kendrick and Mamadie Sheriff supplying the goals.
