Premier Division

Gwalchmai 0 Llanrug United 0

It was almost astonishing two teams which had scored 158 league goals between them before Saturday and included in their line-ups some of the most prolific strikers in North Wales football managed to concoct a 0-0 draw.
Llanrug were without their chief goal supplier Jamie McDaid, but Gwalch had Kaine Bentley, Connor Owen and Marc Evans all on call.
Both defences must have played extremely well.

Peter Mansoor (2) and Kurt Hellfeld came up with the goals which delivered three points for the Darans.

CPD Llannerchymedd 3 Amlwch Town 1

Back to winning ways for the Medd, Gafyn Buckland with an absolute long-range stunner for the hosts from distance before Arden Gisbourne struck from a free kick and Ben Amos also hit the net, veteran sub Owen Rowlands with a late response for Amlwch.

CPD Mynydd Llandegai 1 Trearddur Bay 3

Trearddur goal heroes Mel McGinness and Asa Thomas

Magic Mel McGinness turned back the clock with two vital late goals to help title favourites Trearddur Bay maintain their unbeaten record.
Up to the 79th minute, it looked like Bay’s long undefeated streak might be coming to an end, as a Huw Davies goal on 32 had given Llandegai the lead.
Mynydd were one of only three teams to take a point of Trearddur this season, having drawn 2-2 at Lon Isallt in January, but the Anglesey visitors were not to be denied at Penrhiw.
McGinness made it 1-1 with 11 minutes left, then captain Asa Thomas pounced with his 49th goal of 2023-24.
And the goal-getting legend McGinness, now player-manager at Lon Isallt, made sure of another away win by making it 3-1 in the 94th minute.

CPD Nefyn United 6 CPD Aberffraw 0

Ruthless Nefyn hit their visitors for six, Tomi Evans leading the way with a hat-trick, one a penalty.

A Tom Verburg own goal on 47 minutes was enough for Boded to claim the points against battling visitors Rovers.

Caergybi 0 Bontnewydd 1

Alex Kalafusz’s 58th minute strike was sufficient to keep leaders Bontnewydd on course for the title. It was Kalafusz’s 13th goal this term.

Second-place Llanystumdwy kept the wins coming, Guto Gwenallt (2), Guto Griffith and James Hughes combining to sink Llanfairpwll on their own pitch.
That’s six league wins on the bounce for the Parc Dwyfor men.
