NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE – OCTOBER 17, 2026

PREMIER DIVISION

Prestatyn Sports 4 CPD Y Glannau 3

One of the comebacks of the season – Prestatyn Sports turn around a three-goal deficit to win 4-3 in a thriller.
Three goals in the first 18 minutes via Andrew George, Sait Kanli and Chris McQuillen put Glannau in seemingly full command.
Despite the scoreline, Sports were playing some excellent football but fantastic saves from Bradley Wright initially prevented them from scoring.
However, just before half-time, Ashley Castle switched the play to the in-form Alfie Griffiths, who smashed the ball into the back of the net. A massive goal at a crucial time.
Sports came out for the second half full of confidence and determination to get back into the game. Griffiths turned provider this time, finding Dylan Taylor, who had lost his marker in the box before finishing brilliantly from close range in the 51st minute.
The pressure grew on Glannau after Ben Williams was dismissed for a second yellow on 70 minutes.
With 76 gone, the hosts found the equaliser. Alfie Griffiths played a perfectly weighted through ball for Perseus Shoniwa, who calmly slotted home.
With time running out, Sports were hungry for the winner, and it was Alfie’s brother, Hari Griffiths, who picked up the ball on the right and whipped a superb delivery into the box for Taylor to finish and complete an outstanding comeback with a 90th minute decider.

Llandudno Junction 0 St Asaph City 4

Jake Walker and Ryan Potts both scored twice to secure Saints a four-goal triumph at The Flyover.

Llanfairfechan Town 2 CPD Cerrigydrudion 4

Although still top of the table, Llanfairfechan are seemingly on a downward spiral after Saturday saw them suffer a second straight loss.
Cerrig took the spoils at the Recreation Ground, subs Tirion Griffiths (2) and Peter Baldry scoring three between them with Jac Edwards also on target.
Cynan Edwards and Dylan Edwards replied for the hosts.

CPD Llansannan 2 Conwy Borough 0

Elis Davies bagged a brace for Llansannan who sent Conwy tumbling to their first loss under new manager Ronnie Green.

Penrhyn Bay 4 FC Mountain 4

Two goals in the closing minutes rescued a draw for Penrhyn Bay.
Mountain looked set for victory after a Karl Harkin hat-trick and Daniele Di Marco single put them 4-2 up, Gabriel George and Aaron Gregson responding.
However, Festus Osagie pulled one back on 87 before Alex Owen equalised after 89.

Rhos United 1 Llandudno Swifts 3

Third-place Swifts remain unbeaten after a fine victory at Rhos.
David Maddock, Isaac Carey and Dean Seager provided the away goals, sub Josh McKee with a late consolation for the hosts.

First-half strikes from Morgan Roberts and Lee Fallas banked maximum points for Crozzy, who had captain Sam Rogerson red-carded on the hour.
