North Wales Coast East: Mountain off the mark, Llandyrnog top Division One with 100% record

Premier Division

Llandudno Junction 3 FC Mountain 5

Mountain are off the mark in the Premier Division.
The visitors started well, taking a ninth-minute lead through Daniele Di Marco, but Junction levelled soon after with a Harri Evans-Burton penalty, then Osian Bower-Forbes and Tyler Roberts made it 3-1 to the Railwaymen at half time.
Mountain rallied in the second half, inspired by interval substitute Steve Lewis.
“The Beast” made his presence felt as he set up Bilal Lamqadem to make it 3-2.
Lewis rolled back the years when he netted the equaliser, bringing a ball down on his chest, wrong-footing a defender and calmly slotting past keeper Cain Folly.
Mountain were on the march now, Folly superbly keeping out a Lewis free kick only for Eden Heron to scramble the ball over the line.
Lewis then out-muscled a defender and set up Di Marco for his second and Mountain’s fifth which sealed the win.

CPD Llansannan 3 Llandudno Swifts 3

Dafydd Jones converted his second penalty of the match in the 92nd minute to earn Llansannan a point.
Swifts made a strong start, goals from Freddie Banning and Jake Carey putting them two-up inside the first 26 minutes.
Elis Davies pulled one back, then Jones put away a spot-kick to make it even-stevens at the interval.
Swifts led again after Isaac Carey struck on the hour, but Sannan had the last word when Jones did the necessary from 12 yards.
Swifts had sub Lewis Appleton red-carded in the 90th minute.

Division One

CPD Bro Cernyw 2 Crozzy 0

Rhidian Williams scored after three and 76 minutes to clinch victory for Cernyw.

Glan Conwy 3 CPD Henllan 1

Goals from Finley Dobbins, Oliver Carey and sub Dom Midgely secured the win for Glan Conwy, Shaun Davies with Henllan’s reply.

Llandyrnog United 3 Towyn 2

Early Division One leaders Llandyrnog made it three wins on the bounce with a narrow verdict over new boys Towyn.
Dyrny trailed twice but finished up on top after a great battle at Cae Nant.
Cam Berry scored the only goal of the first half on 28 minutes to hand Towyn an interval advantage.
Thomas Bamber levelled on 48 from a Josh Griffiths assist, but the visitors regained the initiative when Charlie Hill netted, Christian Akoha the chance supplier.
Les Brophy made it all-square again after 70 and the winner came from Jack James in the 87th minute, Griffiths setting him up.

Rhyl Rangers 1 Rhyl Athletic 4

Despite taking the lead at Ffordd Las, Rangers ended up losers in this all-Rhyl derby.
Paul Campion handed the hosts a 16th minute advantage, but Cory McHale made it 1-1 on 25.
Kelvin Berks edged Athletic in front after 29, and William Jones extended the lead to 3-1 on the stroke of half time.
Sub D J Edwards, a 16-year-old prospect, scored the only goal of the second half,
