Premier Division

CPD Aberffraw 3 CPD Gaerwen 1

Two late goals ensured Aberffraw returned to winning ways after a nightmare home defeat in midweek at the hands of Gwalchmai.

Visitors Gaerwen struck first at Cae Cynlas on Saturday, Calum Thomas on target after 25 minutes, Llion Roberts with the assist.

Gethin Davies levelled on 32 to make it all-square at the break.

There were no further goals until the 86th minute, when last season’s top-scorer Andy Clarke made it 2-1, Ieuan Lloyd the supplier.

And Berffro made sure of victory in the 94th minute when player of the match Steve Jones netted, Sam Smith assisting.

CPD Llanberis 0 CPD Llanystumdwy 0

All-square at Ffordd Padarn, where Llanystumdwy picked up their first point of the campaign.

Llanrug United 4 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 0

Comfortable win for Llanrug at the expense of a Llandegai side reduced to 10 before the break when player-manager Iwan Morris was red-carded.

A Deion Hughes penalty put United in front at half time, then in the second period goals followed from Carter Davies, Joshua Evans and sub Elis Williams (pen).

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 0 Menai Bridge Tigers 3

Four wins out of four for the Tigers, who have scored 35 goals in the process and are yet to concede a single one.

Callum Graves’ eighth-minute strike gave the visitors an interval advantage, then Danny Brookwell and Tom Clarke netted in the second half.

Talysarn Celts 5 Gwalchmai 0

After winning 5-0 away in midweek, the roles were reversed for Gwalchmai when they were thrashed on their travels by the same score.

Jack Usher was a hat-trick hero for Celts, Glyn Hughes-Thomas and Owain Glyn also on the scoresheet.

Division One

Holyhead Town 4 CPD Cefni 0

Town’s league programme got off to a flying start with a four-goal victory over Cefni.

Eric Leach opened the scoring on 21 minutes, veteran Steve Driedyk made it two after 31 and Mike Edwards added a third with 35 on the clock.

Zack Haigh made it 4-0 to the hosts after 59 minutes.

CPD Llanerchymedd 3 Caergybi 1

After going the whole of last season without a league win – four draws and 24 defeats – Llanerchymedd celebrated victory at just the second attempt in the 2026-27 campaign.

Relegated from the Premier Division last term, Medd got off the mark in Division One with a 3-1 success over Caergybi. It was the Anglesey side’s first W since beating Glantraeth at the end of the 2024-25 season – 30 games ago.

The Tan Parc outfit went a goal behind on Saturday before Dion Owen missed a 29th minute penalty.

Llanerchymedd did equalise on 37 minutes when Gwynfor Owen made it one-apiece.

Ben Cafferkey made it 2-1 on 55 and Owen completed a double after 72 to seal a very welcome win.

Llangoed & District 3 Amlwch Town 1

Sub Carwyn Williams netted in the 89th and 93rd minute to snatch victory in dramatic fashion for Llangoed.

Dylan Jones gave the Puffins a 61st minute lead, but Dan Jones replied from the penalty spot after 83 for the visitors, who were on course for a point until Williams intervened.

CPD Pentraeth 3 CPD Caernarfon Borough 1

Four players were sent off past the 90th minute in a stormy end to proceedings at Bryniau.

In the 95th minute, captain Connor O’Neill and Marquis Holland saw red for Pentraeth, while Rhys Jones and Thomas Philp of Caernarfon Boro also received their marching orders.

Boro had taken a 59th minute lead through Shaun Roberts before a Jac Parry own goal made it 1-1.

O’Neill edged the Sandmen ahead on 85 and after the four dismissals, Charlie Dales put away a spot-kick to seal three points for early leaders Pentraeth.
