Want to know the draws for the Bute Energy Welsh Cup and the next round of the FAW Amateur Trophy?

Tune into Cymru Football TV this Thursday, August 6, at 8 pm to find out.

The FAW Cup Draw show will feature the First Qualifying Round draw for the Bute Energy Welsh Cup and Round One draw for the FAW Amateur Trophy.

To watch the draws, supporters will need to create an account for free on Cymru Football TV.

FAW Amateur Trophy Round One

123 clubs progressed from the First Qualifying Round last weekend and they are joined by the five clubs who received a bye to this stage – Penmaenmawr Phoenix, Cwmbran Celtic, Cwmbran Town, Knighton Town and Porthcawl Town Athletic.

Clubs have been split into a Northern section draw (52 clubs) and a Southern section draw (76 clubs). The entire Northern section is included in the same pot, while the Southern section has been split at random into two equal pots of 38 teams.

Round One fixtures will be played across the weekend of 4-6 September.

Bute Energy Welsh Cup First Qualifying Round

65 clubs have enter the competition this season, with the 50 lowest-ranked entering in the First Qualifying Round. The eight Genero Adran Premier clubs receive byes to Round One, while the seven highest-ranked Tier Two clubs receive byes to the Second Qualifying Round.

Clubs have been split into a Northern section draw (20 clubs) and a Southern section draw (30 clubs).

First Qualifying Round fixtures will be played on Sunday 20 September.

NOTE

Gwalchmai and Llandyrnog United have been included in the draw, but to our knowledge neither village has a women’s team.

This has been queried with the FAW and we wait a reply. Last season we had a situation where a phantom entrant – Prestatyn Town – appeared in the women’s draw but did not have a team.

In the meantime, this is the draw pot released by the FAW today………
