No doubt determined to regain the top-flight status they held for so long, Bala Town has been a busy place for transfers this summer as the countdown to the 2026-27 season in Cymru North begins.
Bala have already confirmed that manager Stephen Fisher, who took over from Colin Caton last season, has signed a new contract extension that will see him remain at Maes Tegid until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
The following new faces have landed so far…..
Vastly experienced striker returns to a club he last served in the 2019-20 season.
The 38-year-old spent last season in the English pyramid with Midland League Premier Division club 1874 Northwich, who won promotion via play-offs to reach the Northern Premier League Division One West.
Prior to that Hayes had two seasons at Flint Mountain, where he netted 46 goals in 74 appearances, helping the team win the Ardal North West League title in 2023-24.
Hayes has made 351 Cymru Premier appearances in a long and distinguished career and is a member of Wales’ national league’s elite 100 goals club, with 104 on his record.
Chester-born Hayes has represented in the top flight Bala Town, Caernarfon Town, Airbus UK Broughton and Connah’s Quay Nomads, where he first played Welsh Premier football in 2009-10.
He represented Bala six times in European competition and bagged 47 goals in 184 matches across all competitions for the Lakesiders.
Known for his physical presence, aerial ability, and intelligent movement off the ball, Hayes is expected to shine once more for Bala in Cymru North.
Skilful winger with the ability to ignite and excite.
After serving Brymbo in 2019-20, netting 12 goals in 17 matches, Cumming stepped up to the Cymru North to represent Ruthin Town.

Adding youthful energy and attacking flair to the Lakesiders this season will be 20-year-old Tomas Jones.
Last season saw Jones campaign in the Cymru North with Newtown and prior to that he gained big club experience with The New Saints, mainly representing the reserves and development sides, but also gaining some first team minutes.
Having helped Holywell Town gain promotion to the Cymru Premier last season, scoring 21 Cymru North goals in 29 matches, the vastly experienced Lindfield now aims to do the same with Bala Town.
Lindfield, 37, wore the colours of Colwyn Bay in 2024-25, hitting 20 goals in 28 Cymru North outings and 24 in 34 games in all comps.
Turned out for Airbus UK Broughton of the Cymru North in 2023-24, finding the net 15 times in 26 matches. You’re getting the picture now – this man is a Cymru North goals machine!
First got involved in North Wales football when joining Colwyn Bay in January 2022.
Prior to that, Lindfield played for a whole host of teams in England, including Liverpool FC Under-18s and Reserves, Notts County, Chester City, Bournemouth, Accrington, Macclesfield, Chester, Kidderminster, FC United, Trafford, Curzon Ashton, Radcliffe, Marine and Runcorn Linnets.
Goalkeeper, aged 28, who has gathered plenty of Cymru North experience in his career but has also tasted action in the Cymru Premier.
A former Cymru international at U17, U19 and U21 level, Williams had stints at English Football League clubs Bury, Carlisle United and Colchester before signing for Connah’s Quay Nomads in 2017-18.
Has since gone on to play for Airbus UK Broughton, Cefn Druids, Gresford Athletic, Flint Town United and, for the past two seasons, Colwyn Bay.
A return to Bala for this exciting attacking player.
The 35-year-old spent the back end of last season at Flint Town United, where he made 13 appearances for the Cymru Premier side.
Before that was at Caernarfon Town, who he joined in summer 2025 from Bala Town, but found his opportunities with the Cofis limited due to the large squad assembled there.
Predominantly plays as a right winger but can switch flanks as and when required.
Started his career with Blackburn Rovers and has played for a host of English non-league clubs including Altrincham, Stalybridge Celtic, FC Halifax Town, Hednesford Town and Salford City. He moved to Bala for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, appearing in 30 Welsh Premier League matches and scoring 4 goals in the latter campaign.
Defender Harrison returns to Bala, having campaigned last season at Caernarfon Town, where he was part of the Welsh Cup winning side.
Made 28 appearances for the Canaries, scoring twice.
The 31-year-old player previously played for various clubs including Stalybridge Celtic, Workington, Widnes FC, Ramsbottom United, Buxton, Hyde United, Farsley Celtic and Guiseley AFC.
He played a significant role in Bala Town’s defense, appearing in 25 games during the 2023/2024 season in the Welsh Premier League and 22 games in the 2024/2025 season. He is typically a centre-back but can also play as a right-back.

Since then has played for Bangor City, Airbus UK Broughton, Newtown and Flint Town United.
Has made 196 Cymru Premier appearances in total.
Skilful operator with tremendous passing ability and always a danger from dead-ball situations.
Is also a Wales C cap. Should excel in the Cymru North for newest club Bala.
