Mynydd Isa Reserves have secured their third consecutive North East Wales League Reserve Division One title!
In 2023-24 the Flintshire side were crowned champions of the NEWFL Reserve Division by a six point margin, last season they lifted the NEWFL Reserve Division Group A title by three points and this term they have clinched top spot with four games to spare and are nine points clear at present.
After losing their opening game, Isa have gone undefeated in 13 league maches, winning 12 of them.
Penycae Reserves’ 3-1 home loss to Rhos Aelwyd Reserves on Tuesday night ensured Isa cannot be caught.
Manager Chris Evans, his assistants and players all deserve massive credit for this triple triumph which reflects how well recent seasons have developed for Mynydd Isa as a club, with the first team competing in Tier 3 Ardal North West for the first time this term.
