North Wales Hotshots: Which striker became the first to reach 40 goals this season at the weekend?

Harry Massey (left) and strike partner Tom Huxley netted seven goals between them in Overton Recreational’s 7-1 victory on Saturday

Harry Massey of Overton Recreational is the first player to reach 40 goals in North Wales senior football this season.

The phenomenal hitman struck four times in his team’s 7-1 victory over Aston Park Rangers in the Tier 5 North East Wales League Division 2 on Saturday.

It has been an amazing weekend for goal-getters across North Wales with hat-tricks and above galore throughout the pyramid.

Sam Parry of Llandudno Reserves/Development became the fourth player to reach 30 goals for the season with his Saturday double.

The 26-goal mark is a particularly popular zone to be in at present with six net-busters on that figure.
