Cymru Football App: Ad-free subscription tier launching during March

The Football Association of Wales is pleased to announce the launch of a new ad-free subscription tier for the Cymru Football App, arriving during March.

This new feature responds directly to feedback from supporters and regular app users who have asked for a cleaner, uninterrupted experience when following Welsh football.

Users who wish to continue accessing the Cymru Football App free of charge will still be able to do so, with the existing ad-supported version remaining fully available to all users.

A Simpler, Enhanced User Experience

During March, users will have the option to subscribe to an ad-free version of the app for:

  • £2.99 per month, or
  • £24.99 per year

Subscribers will benefit from the removal of all banner advertising and pop-ups, creating a faster, more streamlined experience across the platform.

Whether checking fixtures and results, following live match events or reviewing league tables, the ad-free tier ensures a smoother way to stay connected to the game in Wales.

Supporting Welsh Football

Importantly, all revenue generated through ad-free subscriptions will be reinvested directly back into Welsh football.

By subscribing, users are not only enhancing their own experience but also contributing directly to football in Wales.

The Cymru Football App: Welsh football fixture & results service

The Cymru Football App provides comprehensive coverage of domestic football in Wales, offering:

  • Fixtures and results across Welsh leagues and competitions
  • Live match updates including goals, cards and substitutions
  • Up-to-date league tables and standings
  • Player statistics and team profiles
  • Personalised notifications for favourite clubs and matches
  • Live updates from all Cymru international matches

Powered by official FAW competition data, the app delivers accurate, real-time information from grassroots football through to the top of the domestic pyramid and the international teams.

Available during March and how to activate

The ad-free subscription tier will become available to all users during March, with the option to upgrade directly within the app. For £2.99 per month – or £24.99 annually – supporters can enjoy uninterrupted access to Welsh domestic football while helping to invest in its future.

All you’ll need to do is make sure you have the latest version of the app installed on your device and follow these simple steps:

  • Check the app store to make sure you have the latest update of Cymru Football App downloaded.
  • Make sure that you’re logged into the Cymru Football App and then select ‘Settings’ from the menu.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select the subscription button to activate.
