NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE – DECEMBER 6

PREMIER DIVISION

CPD Bro Cernyw 0 Llandudno Amateurs 2

Amateurs bounced back from a modern-day club record 11-0 defeat by picking up three important league points seven days later.
After an under-strength Llandudno side conceded double figures at Kinmel Bay in the Cookson Cup on November 29, they responded with a 2-0 victory at the North Wales Coast East’ Premier’s next-to-bottom team Bro Cernyw on Saturday.
Azz Rogers gave the visitors the lead in the 38th minute via an assist by Joe Jones.
And the result was sealed on 57 minutes when Jones set up Lee Thomas for his ninth goal of the season.

Llanfairfechan Town 5 Glan Conwy 2

Division top-scorers Llanfairfechan moved up to fourth place after a 5-2 triumph which meant a 12th successive defeat for basement boys Glan Conwy.
The visitors took a fifth-minute lead through Dion Lloyd and it was not until 38 appeared on the clock that Town levelled through Elliot Croston from a Ben Stubbs-Davies assist.
Llanfair took command in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, Jamie Haggas making it 2-1 before an Elliot Croston pair brought him a hat-trick, Lewis Mitchell and Cyril Carey assisting with his goals. Croston also provided an assist, teeing up Haggas.
Sub Harry Croston made it 5-1 with his ninth goal of the campaign before Luke Bartlett pulled one back for Glan on 89.

CPD Y Glannau 2 Rhos United 1

Fifth-place Y Glannau made it five straight league wins at the expense of a much-improved Rhos side.
This pair drew 1-1 at the start of the campaign, but Glannau had the better of the return, Dan Calvert and Harrison Bellis’ 15th goal this term turning the tables after Thomas Brady has handed Rhos a 51st minute lead.

DIVISION ONE

Crozzy 2 Llandyrnog United 3

Joel Rowlands’ 86th minute decider ensured Llandyrnog made it six games undefeated in all competitions.
Goals on 26 and 36 from Dan Davies and Sam Griffiths respectively put United two-up before Sam Rogerson pulled one back for Crozzy close to half time.
Lee Fallas made it all-square on 62 and it needed that late strike from Rowlands to clinch Dyrny the points.

Prestatyn Sports 5 CPD Henllan 2

Mike Jones

Captain Mike Jones displayed the form which made him league top scorer last season by bagging a hat-trick, goals on 23, 59 and 81 minutes putting him on 15 for the current campaign.
Dylan Taylor and sub Alex Garratt added singles for the home team, while Shaun Davies and Liam Davies hit back for Henllan, who took an early lead through the former.
