• Top four all win in Division One and another double for Michael Latham ensures he remains at the top of the scoring charts with 11.
• Kian Davies hits ‘lucky’ 13 goals for Brickfield Reserves.
• Broughton’s Reserves are becoming the late specialists and today was no different. Ruthin Colts are silently putting together a charge and remain in touch at the top.

NEWFA LEAGUE DIVISION 1

Greenfield 1 Hawarden Rangers 2

Thomas Bridges grabbed a double for leaders Rangers, who fought back from a goal down to edge a narrow victory at Greenfield.
Charlie Hughes nudged the hosts in front after five minutes, but Bridges hit back on 36 and 67 to clinch the points.

Rhostyllen 7 Coedpoeth United 1

Second-placed Rhostyllen were in scintillating form as they smashed seven past recent leaders Coedpoeth.
Tom Douglas bagged a brace on 11 and 41 minutes, Adam Williams did the same after 28 and 65, while there was one goal apiece from Lewis Bickerton-Cole (45+5), Martyn Elms (63) and Cameron Thomas (83). Iwan Bennett grabbed a late consolation for Coedy.

FC Queen’s Park 7 Ruabon Rovers 1

Nicky Williams and Mikey Latham both struck twice, on 39 and 90+2 plus 43 and 88 respectively, as the Park found seven heaven at Queensway Stadium.
Corey Smart opened the home account after 30, Dan Parry netted on 72 and Ryan Kershaw 80, Daniel Lloyd with a late Ruabon reply with 82 on the clock.

Broughton United 6 Castell Alun Colts 4

A 10-goal thriller saw Broughton take the spoils.
Six different scorers featured for the home side, Luke Muia on five minutes, Jake Jones (36), James Rutter (37), Nathan Swann-Jones (48), James Ratcliffe (68) and Callum Webber (pen, 81).
Hitting back for Casty was Allister Belk (30), Luca Nardo (58) and Benjamin Bailey (70 and 76). Nathan Davies also missed a penalty for the visitors on 74.

Rhydymwyn 2 Chirk AAA 1

Huw Williams’ pair on 11 and 53 minutes won the day for Rhydymwyn, Edgar Lima Teixeira responding after 20 for the Colliers.

Saltney Town 3 Penyffordd Lions 2

Alfie Harrington was a hat-trick hero for victorious Saltney, finding the net on 29, 81 and 90, Coby Peters and Matthew Bithell on the mark for Penyffordd, who led twice, after 7 and 68 respectively.
Late goals won the contest for the Bordermen.
